  1. This is release 1.10 of ModEdit, a 4-track music editor for IBM and
  2. compatible machines.  This new release incorporates only a few new
  3. features; mainly, its purpose is to correct some bugs present in
  4. ModEdit v1.00.  See the file "WHATNEW.110" to see a list of changes.

  6. Along with this new release of ModEdit is a new release of ModRes: v1.32.  It
  7. is included here for use with ModEdit.  If you have an earlier version of
  8. ModRes (version 1.20 or any other number less than 1.32), it is strongly
  9. recommended you now use the new v1.32 instead, since future compatibility
  10. will probably be based on the v1.32 standard.

  12. It is strongly suggested you read the accompanying documentation files,
  13. "MODEDIT.DOC" and "MODRES.DOC," before proceeding.

  15. For quick start of the program, type "RUNME" and press enter.
