- INTRODUCTION
-
- MODRES is a memory resident set of utilities for playing modules and
- samples to the PC Speaker or a variety of hardware from high level
- programs.
-
- Features
-
- o Supports all Amiga module functions (such as sliding, vibrato etc)
- o Can output to numerous devices including the PC Speaker
- o Memory resident - uses under 8k and can be easily removed from memory
- o Ability to play individual samples
- o Freeware - no registration fees or disabled functions
-
- Coming in the next release:
-
- o Full soundblaster support + autodetection
- o Support for modules (>64k) - Modplay already has this
- o Stereo support from one parallel port (autodetect)
- o Maybe a version that works in the background
-
- Bugs:
-
- o Only supports modules with samples <64k in them (the majority are so)
-
- DONATION
-
- If you like MODRES and would like to see it used in more software,
- or perhaps with better links to MODEDIT then a donation would be
- welcome. I will soon have printed documentation and a few example
- files on how to use MODRES from your favourite language - sending
- a donation would be an easy way to get this information.
