- IDtag is a utility to put strings into an .exe file,
- by making a special .obj file. The .obj file has
- module name "IDtag_output" and filename "idtagout.obj"
- as default. (You can change them by optional arguments.)
-
- Comments put with IDtag are not loaded into memory,
- so you only have to pay the price for disk usage.
- You can even put a GNU manifesto in your .exe file
- if you want!
-
- You can find more technical details on about how this program works
- by MS-DOS Encyclopedia, published by Microsoft Press in USA
- and ASCII Co. in Japan.
-
- Suggestions and bug reports are welcomed.
- Send them to Kenji Rikitake via Internet, to
- address <kenji@ybbs.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp>.
-
- Enjoy!
