  6.   TITLE : KAYPRO INSTALLATION USING TINST 
  7.  
  8. Before  using  TURBO PASCAL on your Kaypro,  it is  necessary  to
  9. install it using the TINST program.
  10.  
  11. 1.  Place a CP/M disk in Drive A.
  12. 2.  Place your Turbo Pascal working diskette in Drive B.  
  13. 3.  Re-boot your computer.   
  14. 4.  A  CP/M version number will appear at the top of the screen.     
  15. If you are using CP/M 2.2G, you will need to perform a few tricks     
  16. (described below) to correctly install Turbo Pascal.

  18. NOTE:  If you are not using version 2.2G, follow the installation 
  19. instructions in your Turbo Pascal Reference Manual.
  20.  
  21. To  install  the  CP/M-80 VERSION 2.2G  implementation  of  Turbo 
  22. Pascal on your Kaypro:

  24. 1.  Change the logged drive to B.
  25. 2.  Run  TINST
  26. 3.  Select  "S"  for  screen.
  27. 4.  Choose the  Kaypro terminal.   
  28. 5.  Answer  "Y" to "Do you want to  modify  this      definition          
  29. (Y/N)?"  
  30. 6.  Do  not make any changes;  instead press <RETURN> in response         
  31. to  each  question.   
  32. 7.  Answer "Y" to:  "Is this definition correct (Y/N)?" 
  33. 8.  Enter 4 MHz for delays.
  34. 9.  Select  "C"  for command and scan through all of the  command     
  35. codes without making any modifications.   
  36. 10. At the main menu, type  "Q"  to return to CP/M.
  37.  
  38. You have now installed Turbo Pascal for your terminal.   You  can 
  39. verify  this by typing TURBO.   The terminal type displays on the 
  40. welcome screen.

  42.       NOTE:  Perform the above procedures are necessary in  order              
  43. to  use  GINST (part of our Turbo  Database  Toolbox              
  44. package).
