  1. TCOM96       Mike Mayo's target compiler for 80c196
  2.  
  3. 1.      Install Tom Zimmer's TCOM
  4.         Preferably put it on drive F: which is where I put it.
  5.         Also install F-PC preferably on drive F: also.
  6.         If you use some other drive you may have to alter TARGET96.SEQ
  7.  
  8. 2.      PKUNZIP -d TCOM96 F:\
  9.         will expand out the TCOM96 files into the TCOM directory tree.
  10.  
  11. 3.      Read READ.ME
  12.  
  13. 4.      In TCOM96 enter    MAKE96
  14.  
  15. 5.      In TARG96 enter    MAKECD96
  16.  
  17. 6.      In SAMPL96 enter   ..\tcom96\tcom96 lcdt /lnx
  18.         and then           ..\tcom96\tcom96 down /lnx
  19.         and then           db lcdt
  20.  
  21. 7.      Now you need an 80c196 target running the LCDT program
  22.         connected to your COM1
  23.
