- This is a small set of every-day-tools I have written over the
- past two years of work with OS/2. They are (hopefully) self
- explaining, all of them print a short description when called
- with the argument -h or -? or without any argument (some program
- already do something if called without arguments, such as DU and
- DF, so I suggest using -h or -?).
-
- See TOOLS.INI (to be placed anywhere in your PATH or where INIT
- points to) for some configurations for a few of the programs.
-
- Some of the programs are inspired by similar Unix(tm) programs
- with the same name. All except TEE (no sense) run in the DOS box
- too or under DOS itself. MARK and RELEASE are for the DOS box or
- DOS only. The little DISKACC.DLL is used by COPYDISK only, place
- it somewhere into LIBPATH.
-
- These programs can be used freely for private or educational
- purposes. If you want to use it for commercial purposes, contact
- the author.
-
- If you think that the programs are useful and that they make your
- daily work with OS/2 easier, any donations are welcome. You will
- then become a "registered" user, and will be notified of newer
- releases (and get it free, if you are reachable via e-mail or have
- FTP). But nobody is required to register. I will fix bugs (if
- possible) and may assist to solve problems reported by any user.
-
- Suggestion, if you want to register: if you have written some
- shareware for OS/2 yourself, send me a copy (or tell me where I
- may find it) and register me for free. You are then registered
- for this software too.
-
- There is no warranty. Use this software on your own risk. Due to
- the complexity and variety of today's hardware and software which
- may be used to run these programs, I am not responsible for any
- damage or loss of data caused by use of this software. It was
- tested very well and is expected to work correctly, but nobody can
- actually guarantee this for any circumstances. And since this
- software is essentially free (even if you should register, you
- don't pay for this software but for the service of getting
- upgrades), you get what you pay for ...
