  1.      The ROSE X.25 Packet Switch is the most advanced Packet
  2. Radio Packet Switch available.  It has been in development for
  3. over 3 years and is based upon almost a decade of experience in
  4. the communications industry.  It is based upon the international
  5. standard for data communications, CCITT X.25.  This fact has made
  6. acceptance of it's use very quick and easy in every country where
  7. the regulators have been asked, over a dozen to date.
  8.  
  9.      This fact may not seem important at this time.  As true
  10. International Networking, not just systems forwarding mail but a
  11. Global interactive network develops the regulators will become
  12. more interested in the activities.  If the networks are running
  13. with the protocols that are used in the commercial networks, then
  14. the regulators will not panic and have a knee-jerk reaction.  In
  15. many countries ALL data going in-to or out-of the country Must go
  16. on an X.25 connection.

  18.      The ROSE X.25 Packet Switch is available for Amateur use
  19. from many sources, the file GETROSE.DOC in ROSEDOC.ARC describes
  20. where and how.  It is requested that all groups using the
  21. software register to enable coordination of network growth and to
  22. provide input to the development of new features.
