  2. PATCH.EXE is a utility for patching the LANtastic 3.0 REDIR program
  3. so that it will install on older XT class machines with old model
  4. hard disk controllers. Generally, the machine will lock up after
  5. displaying the initial REDIR welcome message, or the XT will reboot.
  6.  
  7. WARNING:  If your computer is not exibiting these symptoms, do NOT
  8. run this patch!  Also, only run the patch program once, or REDIR may
  9. not run correctly.

  11. If your are not sure whether you need this patch, check with your
  12. Artisoft reseller or call Artisoft Technical Support at 602-293-6363.

  14. To run the patch, change directories to the \LANTASTI subdirectory,
  15. copy PATCH.EXE to \LANTASTI, and type PATCH at the DOS command line.
