  1. This is version 1.2b of the executable for the MacPrintService component of
  2. 3+Open for Macintosh 1.2.  It fixes the problem where the service created a log
  3. file in the root of the C: drive called DUMP.DBG whenever a printing error
  4. occurred.  This log file would continue to grow until the partition was filled.

  6. To install this fix copy MACPS.EXE to the C:\3OPEN\SERVER\LANMAN\SERVICES
  7. directory on your server.  At that time you should also delete C:\DUMP.DBG, if
  8. it exists.  You may also wish to place the file in the \MACPS directory on the
  9. 3+Open for Macintosh Server Install #2 diskette so future installs of the
  10. MacPrintService will use the new version as well.  This version of MACPS.EXE
  11. revs the Install #2 diskette from -00 to -01 in each of the distribution sizes.
