  2. Third Party Products Testing Update (January 6-12, 1991)

  4. In our efforts to keep you as informed as possible on the status of
  5. current testing projects, we have compiled this report which
  6. provides information on compatibility issues with LANtastic and
  7. third party products. This report contains information only on
  8. current projects. If you are having problems with a product running
  9. on LANtastic, please contact our Technical Support staff at (602)
  10. 293-6363.  A current compatibility list and detailed technical
  11. bulletins on various third party products are available through our
  12. BBS at (602) 293-0065 and through our Artisoft Fax System at (602)
  13. 293-1397.  If you have any comments or suggestions about this
  14. update, the compatibility list or technical bulletins, they may be

  18. Ashton-Tate's dBASE IV 1.1
  19. We have been working with Ashton-Tate to resolve reported printing
  20. problems with dBASE IV 1.1. If you have been experiencing
  21. difficulties with this version of dBASE, please contact our
  22. technical support staff for assistance.  A technical bulletin will
  23. be available once all reported problems have been resolved.

  25. Digital Research DR DOS 5.0
  26. We have just started working with Digital Research in efforts to
  27. resolve reported problems with DR DOS 5.0 and will be testing DR
  28. DOS over the next few weeks. A target completion date has not yet
  29. been set.

  31. Microsoft Windows 3.0a
  32. We have been successfully running Windows 3.0a (released late
  33. November) in house and an updated bulletin should be available
  34. soon. We are also hoping to see a resolution to the
  35. incompatibilities between Futurus's Right Hand Man 5.1 and Windows
  36. 3.0a.

  38. TCP/IP
  39. We are currently working with two companies to provide support for
  40. Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP): The
  41. Wollongong Group (WIN/TCP for DOS and WIN/ROUTE) and FTP (PC/TCP
  42. for DOS).  We are now in the testing stages with both companies and
  43. hope to have the final results soon. Once the testing results are
  44. approved, a bulletin will be generated detailing the installation
  45. and operation of TCP/IP products on LANtastic.
