  5. Quick Start for NOSVIEW (Stand-alone version)

  7. The following are the commands required to get View running quickly.
  8.  
  9. C>  MD \SPOOL
  10. C>  MD \SPOOL\MAIL
  11. C>  MD \SPOOL\MQUEUE
  12.  
  13. C>  COPY A:CONFIGR.EXE  \SPOOL
  14. C>  COPY A:ADD-ON.EXE  \SPOOL
  15. C>  COPY A:QM.EXE  \SPOOL
  16. C>  COPY A:MAILBOOK.EXE  \SPOOL
  17. C>  COPY A:VIEW.HLP \SPOOL
  18.  
  19. VIEW.EXE  can be located anywhere as long as you have a PATH statement for DOS
  20. to find it.  If you have been using another mailer with NOS, then the SPOOL
  21. sub-directories may already exist.  When you run View for the first time, you
  22. should select f5 and fill in the config page.

  25. For novell users, the files should be in the  SYS:VIEW directory, and NOT the
  26. \SPOOL directory.  Novell users must install the 'Network Postman' software. 
  27. Read the LAN_VIEW document.
