  1. 3+Open 1.1, as provided on tape part number 4773-02, is not supported
  2. on 3Com's 3S/4xx servers. 3Com testing found errors related to memory
  3. parity when using software from this tape (4773-02) on the 3S/4xx servers.
  4. While there are no problems on 3S/5xx servers, 3+Open 1.1 for 3Server (3Com
  5. product number 3C2605A) was not released for the 3S/4xx servers. A fix was
  6. found and tested and the software has been released for all 3Servers. In
  7. order to successfully run 3+Open 1.1 on 3S/4xx servers, you must either
  8. install 3+Open 1.1 from tapes with part number 4773-03 or later, or, install
  9. 3+Open 1.1 from the 4773-02 tape and then copy this version of DISK01.SYS
  10. (version 1.1f, dated 10-31-89) to the root directory of drive C: on that
  11. server, overlaying the file already present.
