  1. 03/08/92 - Added the DISABLE parameter to the CRON START procedure.  This
  2.            will disable the F1-DOS Shell which could lead to LAN security
  3.            problems.

  5. 03/07/92 - Versions prior to 2.27 may not work with DesqView 2.31 and
  6.            DOS 5.0 , or any DesqView version with DOS 5.0 .  Hey it used
  7.            to work great but now it doesn't so the DesqView support has
  8.            been entirely removed.  CRONJR will still work with DesqView
  9.            but it is no longer "DesqView aware" meaning that if you
  10.            want to run CRONJR in a DesqView minimized window, then you
  11.            better have the "Displays text directly to screen" flag set
  12.            to yes!  Otherwise you will see garbage on your screen.
  13.            The EDITCRON program versions 1.4 and may lock up on
  14.            initial creation of the CRONJR.SCH file.  This has been fixed
  15.            in versions above 1.5 .

  17. 08/25/91 - Versions 2.24 and 2.25 were writing garbage parameters into the
  18.            CRONWK.BAT file.  It worked great as long as you only had one
  19.            entry in the CRONJR.SCH file.  Changed token scanning code and
  20.            tested and tested and tested.

  22. 08/01/91 - Installation process ( CRON START ) was not working correctly
  23.            for DOS versions 4.0 and above.  CronJr treated DOS 4.0 and
  24.            higher as if it was a version below 3.3.   Oops.  We plead
  25.            stupidity.  If you have DOS version 4.0 or above, and have
  26.            installed CRONJR, you should recreate the CRONJR.BAT file
  27.            by running CRON START with the new version of CRON .

  29. 05/20/91 - The 386Max memory manager software together with the Palindrome
  30.            tape backup software have problems with nested CALLing of batch
  31.            files.  The problem occurs when a batch file CALLs a batch
  32.            file to EXECUTE a batch file to run the TNA2TAPE.exe program.
  33.            This is not a problem inherent to CRONJR, but a problem with
  34.            386MAX, Palindrome and DOS.  The error can be reproduced without
  35.            using CRONJR.

  37.            The versions of 386Max and the Palindrome tape backup software
  38.            are not known.  They may have fixed this problem with later
  39.            releases, but in the mean time......

  41.            Software Shorts released version 2.24 which allowed parameter
  42.            passing from within the CRONJR.SCH file.  By not using a
  43.            batch file to execute TNA2TAPE.exe in CRONJR.SCH, the total
  44.            number batch files in use was reduced by one.  This solved the
  45.            386MAX / Palindrome problem.
