  1. These two files fix two major bugs found in the AFP Server and Mac Print 
  2. Service.
  3.  
  4. The bug in the AFP Server involved data loss with the Wingz application.  This 
  5. has been resolved.
  6.  
  7. The bug in the Mac Print Service caused the service to fail to start and the 
  8. error message "Unable to determine local sharenames" to appear in the audit 
  9. log.  This has also been resolved.
  10.  
  11. Please copy the two files to the directory C:\3OPEN\SERVER\LANMAN\SERVICES and 
  12. also to the appropriate directories under SERVICES.  Therefore, AFPSRVR.EXE 
  13. should go into the directory SERVICES\AFPSRVR and MACPS.EXE should go into the 
  14. directory SERVICES\MACPS.  This is to insure that if the service is ever 
  15. disabled and reenabled it will use the new version.

  17. You may also want to copy the files to the AFPSRVR and MACPS directories on the 
  18. 3+Open Mac Server Install #2 diskette so future installs will use the new 
  19. version.
