- You can also use Notes mode to practice calling Futura in Remote
- Retrieval mode, so when you call away from home, you'll know how to
- do it the first time. To practice, be sure the remote is turned on
- in the remote setup and enter Notes Mode, then type in the password
- you defined in Remote Retrieval Setup. If you've forgotten it, go
- back to the Setup Menu, select R for Remote Retrieval, and check
- your password. Then return to Notes Mode and enter the password
- with a ? at the end `(nothing after the "?")' and wait 3 seconds -
- like this - `PASSWORD?'. The Remote Retrieval simulation will begin.
- Enter a ? or "help ga" to get this list of commands you can use
- under remote retrieval. (More of commands in next few pages)

- `PHONE NAME GA' - You can access your phone directory in Remote
- Retrieval. Have you forgotten a phone number and need to

- The standard Hayes or compatiable modem does not work with
- Baudot, a popular mode for deaf users. Baudot speaks to Baudot.
- ASCII speaks to ASCII. So, a Hayes modem speaks in ASCII
- only. Very few TDDs have an ASCII option. Be sure to check it
- with a deaf friend. In other words, be sure the other side
- is using 300 ASCII Baud. Some Hayes modems may not work.
