- Note: The appropriate data file must be renamed to "TETRIS.DAT"!

- Modes Of Play:
-
- Tetris can be played in either of two modes, Marathon or Levels.
-
- - Marathon mode
-
- Play continues until the well is filled.
-
- - Levels Mode
-
- Tetris starts each level with a pre-defined arrangement of blocks
- and counts down 15 lines per level. There are currently 10
- levels defined and play will cycle back to level 1 after level 10.

- TETRIS.DAT Contents:
-
- The TETRIS.DAT file contains game timeout values based on processor
- speed, the bitmap images of the pieces and the definitions of the
- various levels. This file must always be in the same directory with
- the program.

- Secret Keys:
-
- 'f': Freezes play without switching to "pause" screen.
- Alt-V: Advances level immediately.
