  3. A list of PD programs by Timo Salmi

  6. If you have an access to InterNet (or its subnets NorduNet or
  7. FuNet), and have ftp (file transfer program) capability, you can get
  8. these PD programs from the University of Vaasa, Finland, node number
  9. 128.214.12.3 by anonymous ftp. If you don't have ftp, you can use a
  10. mail server. You can inquire for more information by email from
  11. ts@chyde.uwasa.fi. Furthermore, some of the programs have been
  12. appearing as UseNet Binary Postings in comp.binaries.ibm.pc. The
  13. programs are also available from several bulletin boards. You can
  14. obtain them for example by calling 2:515/1 (Micro Maniacs Opus in
  15. Finland, tel. 358-0-425966) directly, or by using a file request.
  16. Some of these programs also appear on the PC-SIG shareware library.
  17. The most recent versions are, however, at the University of Vaasa.
  18. This means that using anonymous ftp, or the mail server of uwasa.fi,
  19. is the best of the alternatives. (North American users please first
  20. try to get these programs from a site near you (e.g. Simtel20) in
  21. order not to add to the load on the overseas link.)
