- These utilities provide the basic functions to allow the remote operation
- of a FLUKE/PHILIPS Model 97 ScopeMeter. The three main utilities are:
-
- PS Program Setup: sends an earlier saved setup file to the 97.
- QS Query Setup: save the setup data to a file.
- QW Query Waveform: saves captured data to a file (ASCII).
-
- All programs operate through comm ports 1 or 2 at 1200 baud (97 default)
-
- Entering the command without any qualifiers will result in the following
- help information being displayed.

-
- There are a number of other commands available and I may implement them in
- a similar fashion so that the ScopeMeter may be operated from a batch file.
- These include setting comms parameters, other setup options, reading the
- DVM functions, arming the trigger, programming the waveform etc.
-
- All normal disclaimers apply regarding responsibilty for any outcome
- resulting from the use of these utilities.
-
- There is no charge but I would appreciate feedback, and of course donations
- of money, favourite programs, recipes etc. would never be refused!
-
- I would like to consider writing a graphical interface for the 97 at some
- stage so would particularly like to get feedback on that. I haven't seen
- the commercial (US$500?) package yet but at that price I'm sure I won't be
- buying it!
