  14. "The Animated Alphabet"
  15.  
  16. is a fun educational program that uses pictures to represent each
  17. letter of the alphabet.  When the child chooses the correct letter,
  18. the picture turns into an entertaining  animated sequence.

  20. To Run:  Copy all files to your hard drive.  Type ALPHABET.
  21. Help: Hit the F1 function key     Quit: Hit the Escape (Esc) key.
  22. Ages: Pre-school through first grade.

  24. Benefits of registration:

  26. 1 -  A copy of "The Animated Alphabet" is sent to you personalized
  27.      with your child's name.
  28. 2 -  Another alphabet program called ABCSONG, with new animations

  39. teaches shape and color identification using a colorful menu system
  40. designed for children.  Each shape that is correctly identified
  41. combines with other shapes to create a picture.  Upon completion,
  42. the picture becomes an entertaining mini-movie.

  70. with a "mouse" menu with a built-in mouse.

  75.       read to them as they unfold on the screen, and older children

  89. every step of the way.  Not just a drill, but a tutorial that

  116. pictures in pairs you win the game and get animated rewards.

  120. theater.

  136. "Animated Words"
  137.  
  138. is a spelling program for children from pre-school
  139. through first grade.  The child is helped to match a word with it's
  140. picture.  When the word is correctly matched, pieces are added to
  141. a puzzle; after five correct words the puzzle becomes animated.

  143. 50 words and 10 animated puzzles provide variety.  The program
  144. is enhanced with the use of nearly 100 digitized sound samples of
  145. a human voice.  SoundBlaster, AdLib (and compatibles), Covox Speech
  146. Thing, and the PC Speaker (using commercial quality Real Sound) are
  147. supported.  Both keyboard and mouse support are provided!
