  1. HUNDRED ACRE CONSULTING ANNOUNCES AVAILABILITY OF GNU C COMPILER SUPPORT
  2. PACKAGES.

  4. April 20, 1992.  Hundred Acre Consulting announces the availability of the
  5. GNU C compiler, provided in a ready to run, easy to install package, and
  6. including telephone and Email support.  The package includes the following
  7. items:
  8.  
  9. * The language dialects GNU CC, GNU C++ and GNU Objective C.
  10. The GNU debugger, GDB, is also included.
  11.  
  12. * Two configurations - native and cross code generation.
  13.  
  14. * Complete ANSI C library, suitable for use in embedded systems, with hooks
  15. for supplying host OS functions.
  16.  
  17. * Complete source code.
  18.  
  19. * A printed copy of the documentation for GCC and GDB.  The package also
  20. includes the documentation in Postscript form, and in GNU Info form.  A
  21. selection of viewers for the online forms of the manuals is also
  22. provided.
  23.  
  24. The support agreement provides one year of Email and telephone support,
  25. including patches to fix bugs.  Also available is access to new releases
  26. of the package electronically via UUCP, or on magnetic media for a
  27. duplication fee.

  29. The compiler package is available on a number of host platforms, and
  30. including native and cross compiler configurations.  Here is a list of the
  31. platforms currently supported:

  47. Packages for several additional targets are currently under development;
  48. call for details.

  50. The GNU C support package is priced at $495 on all host platforms. Through
  51. May 15 1992, the package is being offered for an introductory price of
  52. $395.

  54. Hundred Acre Consulting honors the terms of the GNU General Public License,
  55. Version 2.  Selling GNU software in the manner of traditional commercial
  56. software is the method we use to charge fees for our support services. 
  57. You are, of course, free to redistribute the contents of the media we
  58. provide, under the terms of the GNU General Public License.  A portion of
  59. all proceeds (5% of sale price) is donated to the Free Software
  60. Foundation.
