  4. Arrythmia Analysis ( AAA ) version 1.0
  5.  
  6. AAA 1.0 is a DOS based electrocardiogram generation and analysis program.
  7. It comprises :

  9. - ECG Generation : helps you generate electrocardiograms using the arrow
  10. keys of the computer keyboard and plot them on the screen.
  11.  
  12. - ECG Analysis : helps you analyze electrocardiograms generated by the
  13. program ECG Generation.  It measures amplitude and time intervals of the
  14. various ECG complexes ( P-wave, QRS complex and S-T segment ). Next, it
  15. compares these values to those of a normal electrocardiogram and displays
  16. the results on the screen.

  18. AAA 1.0 is a simulation program ideal for medical practitioners engaged in
  19. cardiac research and teaching. It is also a good tool for medical
  20. students.  It can be used to experiment and study generation and analysis
  21. of a variety of arrythmias.  The program can be extended for integration
  22. with an A/D converter for continuous heart-rate monitoring via an
  23. electrocardiogram recorder.

  25. AAA 1.0 is small in size ( only 20K ).  It is fast.  A demo program will
  26. easily demonstrate its speed.  It is easy to use.  On screen instructions
  27. guide you through the process of electrocardiogram generation.

  35. - Source code in QuickBASIC; compatible with QuickBASIC 4.5
