  1. IRVINE, CA - Marsh Fisher, chairman and founder of Irvine, California-based
  2. Fisher Idea Systems, Inc., has announced that the DOS Version 4.0 of the
  3. firm's innovative software, IdeaFisher, is now shipping.

  5. Among the upgrade highlights is a complete revised QBank database that has
  6. been expanded to 5,970 questions from the original 3,000. The improvement
  7. in writing style and organization will greatly enhance the user's ability
  8. to define the task at hand
  9.  
  10. Based upon user input, the refined interface offers custom configuration of
  11. the size and placement of each window within the program. This information
  12. is saved in a preference type file, allowing user design of the working
  13. environment.

  15. Other enhancements include: 
  16. - Improved text editor function on the Notepads
  17. - Mouse support has been increased with the addition 
  18.   of close and zoom icons for each window
  19. - Mouse supported YES and NO boxes 
  20. - A new User's Guide which contains four detailed 
  21.   Sample Sessions 
  22. - A utility program, IDBCHECK, which can be used to verify
  23.   the integrity of Personal Association files

  25. The backward compatible upgrade is complete with revised and expanded
  26. program documentation, and priced at $99. The upgrade is free to users
  27. (with proof of purchase) who purchased IdeaFisher since July 1, 1991. The
  28. program will run on IBM PC/XT/AT386 486 or 100% compatibles.
