  1. Arcadia, CA...The FileRunner program solves a critical problem faced by
  2. anyone who uses more than one PC, and needs to transfer data from one PC
  3. to others. The problem is -- how to safely get the latest version of each
  4. of your important files onto all of the PCs you use. Designed to automate
  5. and safeguard file transfer, the FileRunner program is very easy to use
  6. and does not require any cables, modems or network hardware. It simply
  7. uses a floppy disk and proprietary Overwrite Safeguard algorithms to
  8. transfer and maintain identical files on each of your PCs. It literally
  9. synchronizes the files on all your PCs.

  11. The FileRunner program creates an "invisible network" between all of your
  12. desktop and notebook PCs through a unique combination of functions. It
  13. combines data compression, virus checking and, for the first time
  14. anywhere, Overwrite Safeguard. Overwrite Safeguard is the exclusive
  15. ability to detect when a critical file has been altered on one or more
  16. computers. It gives you a chance to keep both copies for later review. You
  17. no longer need to worry about accidentally overwriting important
  18. information during transfer. This important feature is found only in the
  19. FileRunner program.

  21. Virus scanning is an automatic option. If a virus is present, the
  22. FileRunner program will not copy the infected program, but instead will
  23. notify you of the problem. MBS Technologies, Inc. has licensed Virex for
  24. the PC from MicroCom Systems, Inc. for the ultimate in virus protection. A
  25. built-in data compression option allows you to efficiently pack large
  26. amounts of data on standard 5 1/4" or 3 1/2" diskettes and to transfer the
  27. most recent information to other PCs.

  30. Additionally, it calculates time loss, and prompts you to adjust the
  31. internal clocks on your computers to keep them synchronized and accurate.

  37. The FileRunner program is so easy to use on a daily basis that, after the
  38. initial set up, all you must hit are two keys on the computer...F10 and Y.
  39. There is no need to get involved with complicated DOS commands, hard to
  40. use data compression programs, or obscure path and directory locations.
  41. The FileRunner program tracks all of this information and automatically
  42. knows how and where to find your files. Context-sensitive hypertext help
  43. screens are available throughout the program by pressing the Fl key.
  44. On-screen help is also displayed on most screens.

  48. If you transfer data between PCs, the FileRunner program gives you the
  49. security of knowing that you will always have the latest information on a
  50. lightweight diskette that goes with you, and that the transfer will be
  51. safe and efficient. You do not need to use inconvenient unwieldy cables,
  52. and the computers do not have to be in close proximity. It can be used by
  53. anyone who works with one computer at the office and another at home. It
  54. can be used by a person who travels with a notebook and needs to update
  55. his desktop at his office when he returns. It can be used by a consultant
  56. or salesman who has to work in geographically separated locations. Offices
  57. with multiple PCs can use the program in lieu of expensive networks. If a

  59. of transferring files between networked PCs and any stand-alone desktop or
