  3. Animated Shapes is an educational program for children from pre-school age to 
  4. first grade. It combines colorful EGA graphics with animation in an exciting 
  5. way to learn about shapes and colors.

  7. The child is presented with a menu tailored for young ones that asks them to 
  8. match the shape and the color of a geometrical object. As the child correctly 
  9. identifies the characteristics of the object, the shape is used to build a 
  10. picture. Guessing what the picture will be is part of the fun.

  12. Once the picture is completed, it turns into a movie-like animation. High 
  13. quality animation is achieved by the use of hundreds of images. This program 
  14. was written by an artist with over a dozen years' experience in the field of 
  15. classical animation.
