  1. Hello,

  3. Using the MICRONEWS package is simplicity itself.  Loading it is as easy as 
  4. entering GO at the DOS prompt.
  5.  
  6. The disk drive light will come on, the program will load into memory, and 
  7. you'll be told that the hotkey is Left-Shift + 5.  Then, everything will 
  8. appear to return to normal.
  9.  
  10. The program is now loaded into memory.  You call it by holding the Left-Shift 
  11. key down while pressing the number 5 key on the number pad.  You will be 
  12. presented with the title screen.  Just press ENTER to continue.  After 
  13. pressing the enter key, you will be presented with the Table of Contents.  
  14. Use the Up or Down Arrow keys to select the jump, then press ENTER to make 
  15. it.

  17. Any time you get lost, or just need a reminder, press the F1 key.

  19. By the way, once you have started the program, you can switch directories, 
  20. even disk drives.  The program will always know where to go to get its files.
