  9.     Thanks for taking the time to download this issue of GIF
  10. News.  I really hope you like it.  In this issue, you will
  11. find articles on: PC Expo in NYC, review of the game Armor
  12. Alley, Creative Lab's Voice Edit program, some hints to
  13. Legend's TimeQuest adventure, some information on the
  14. Internet, the first GIF News contest where you can actually
  15. win something, and alot more!

  17.     Again, GIF News can be freely copied and shared just as
  18. long as no modifications what-so-ever are made to this
  19. archive.  If you enjoyed reading the past 6 or so issues of
  20. GIF News, please consider a small donation of $5 to cover my
  21. cost of uploading GIF News long distance to BBS's across the
  22. country.  Or instead, please upload GIF News to a couple of
  23. your favorite boards.  Any bit of distribution helps.

  30.     Special note to Internet readers:  If you would like to
  31. be a GIF News subscriber, just send me E-mail and I'll add you
  32. to the mailing list.  GIF News will be uuencoded and sent to
  33. you via E-mail.  Many uudecoders exist for both unix and ms-dos
  34. platforms.  If you can't unzip on your machine, let me know and
  35. I'll send up the file in an LZH archive or a ZOO archive.
  36.     Also, if you're anonymously FTP'ing, and come across some
  37. files you think might be GIF News.  You can easily tell which    
  38. issue is up by looking at the filename.  For example, you see:
  39.     gn91-07.zip  <-- The gn stands for GIF News, the 91 re-
  40.                      presents the year, and the 07 is the
  41.                      month (July in this case).
  42. So be sure to look for gn91-09.zip come September.
