- <MSDOS.POSTSCRIPT>
- DVIPS386.ZIP Convert a TeX DVI file to PostScript on 386
-
- This ZIP file contains executables for an MSDOS 386 machine. They were
- compiled with DJGPP. To use these programs you *need* a 386 MSDOS
- machine with a MATH COPROCESSOR and a DOS extender go32.exe (included).
- You also need the font library DVIPSLIB.ZIP.
- The PC versions of the programs are available separately in the file
- DVIPS54.ZIP.
- DVIPS386 should be prefered on 386 machines because it virtual memory
- and is much less likely to choke the translator. I had two DVI files
- that I had problems with when I used DVIPS54.ZIP. The program simply
- run out of memory while allocating raster. They both worked with the
- programs in DVIPS386.
- The source files in DVIPS386 were obtained from DVIPS54.
