  2. This is a little program which helps in visualising 2 x 2 matrices
  3. as linear mappings.
  4.  
  5. You are asked to type in the two rows of the matrix.  The program
  6. draws the ellipe obtained by applying your matrix to points on the
  7. Unit circle.
  8.  
  9. The coordinate system used for screen display is ALWAYS 
  10. from -10 to 10 on x and y axes.  Using very large and very small
  11. numbers in your input matrix will not be particularly illuminating.
  12.  
  13. One last point: The program normally introduces delays so that the
  14. entire operation takes 8 seconds for one matrix.  If you hit any
  15. key, it eliminates these delays.  On a fast machine, this will
  16. make the display virtually instantaneous.
