- To add sound effects to your pictures (yup, you sure can!)

- select SOUND from the control panel. You'll be shown a secondary
- menu including a few built-in sound effects, plus some options
- for creating your own. To use a built-in effect, simply point to
- it and click the left mouse button. SILENCE, NOISE, and LIQUID,
- will ask for a time in milliseconds. Type a number from 1 to
- 60000. 1000 milliseconds is one second. CUSTOM will ask for a
- frequency as well as a length of time. Carefully arranged use of
- CUSTOM, possibly combined with SILENCE, can create a huge variety
- of effects.

- The MUSIC item on the SOUND menu is very special. Select it
- with the left mouse button and you'll see the tools of music
- composition. You can change the duration of notes or select
- rests on the lower staff, and the notes themselves on the top
- staff. There is also an ATTACK menu and a general MUSIC menu.
- Point to any item and select with a click of the left button.
- Music will be saved automatically when you select QUIT. SELECT
- MAIN MENU to return to the control panel.
