  5.    Quick Titles 2.2  is  shareware  which  may be distributed either as our
  6.    original compressed (zipped) file  called  "ASCIFNT2.ZIP"  or on disk as
  7.    seven seperate  files  (eight  if  ASCIFNT2.ZIP  is  included as  well).
  8.    No file may be omitted or altered, however it's distributed (see below).

  10.    ASCIFNT2.ZIP  is  not  crippled  or  limited  in  any  way.  It replaces
  11.    QTITLE21.ZIP, distributed earlier in 1990, which did  have  a time limit.
  12.    Sysops who have posted QTITLE21.ZIP are requested  to  replace  it  with
  13.    ASCIFNT2.ZIP.   ASCIFNT2.ZIP  also  replaces  ASCIFONT.ZIP  (see below).

  18.     Quick   Titles   is  distributed  as  is.   The  author  disclaims  all
  19.     warranties, expressed or implied.  The author will assume no  liability

  36.     An earlier  ASCIFONT.ZIP  distributed by The Logic Factory was  59,255
  37.     bytes long.  There  are  no  important differences between it and this
  38.     ASCIFNT2.ZIP  file.   Both were official releases.   This is the later
  39.     release even though it's smaller: the smaller qt.exe here was compiled
  40.     from the same source code by an improved compiler.

  42.     NOTE - Quick Titles 2.2 is NOT in the public domain!!  It is shareware
  43.     which may be freely copied and distributed so long as:

  45.       1)  The files listed above are all included, and are all unaltered.

  47.       2)  It is not misrepresented as being free, in the public domain, or
  48.           without a copyright.

  50.       3)  No  price  is set beyond reasonable charges  for  the  media  and

  67.     For a visual treat, run the file  "qt3-demo.exe"  and you'll see a brief
  68.     series of color slides produced by the beta version of Quick Titles 3.0,
  69.     which uses the  extra  fonts that have been added to QT 3.0.  It'll give
  70.     you  a  good  idea of just what  Color Quick Titles 3.0  (the registered
  71.     version) can do.  See "Why Buy" below about registration.

  102.     SYSOPS:   Quick Titles 3.0 (the registered, color version) is just what
  103.     the doctor ordered for whipping up impressive and  colorful screens for
  104.     your BBS quickly and simply.  The screens can be saved with ANSI codes.

  106.     FAX users: if you've ever sent six words in an ascii file out as a FAX,
  107.     and wished you could send a FAX that looked a little  less  silly  than
  108.     six  little  words stuck in the middle of the page; use Quick Titles to
  109.     create something with more impact...or  just  to  create  a  letterhead
  110.     suitable  for  fax  correspondence.   Then  hand the other internal FAX

  113.     Note that Quick Titles can be used  to  print  up  signs  quickly:  its
  114.     designs  look VERY nice on a laser printer.  In order to print signs on
  115.     a dot-matrix printer that doesn't support line-drawing  characters  you
  116.     may need "lineprt.zip" which comes with the paid version of QT.

  119.     professional look without going to a lot of trouble, with Quick Titles.

  134.         To make things easier for you: after uploading ASCIFNT2.ZIP, rather
  135.     than typing out a descriptive message about it yourself, you  can  just
  136.     upload  "qt-blurb.doc" (32 lines long) or "qt-weead.doc" (8 lines long)

  138.     these describe Quick Titles, have no lines longer than  69  characters,
  139.     have no blank lines, and are not embarassingly self-serving.
