  6. This distribution of the SuperVGA GIF viewer "NakedEye" comes with
  7. the following files. There are some extra files but they are not
  8. very important.

  29. Some sample GIF files are included for your enjoyment. They are of 
  30. Australiana characters and I hope the overseas folks will like them.
  31. This is NOT in the distribution on a network because GIF files are
  32. too big! Some VOC files for music are also included but again, the
  33. distribution on the network will not have them. NakedEye will now
  34. play music at your command when you enjoy looking at the GIF files.
  35. (A Sound Blaster card is assumed)

  37. To get started simply copy all these files into a directory, edit 
  38. NakedEye.cfg if you wish, but this can be done later when you already
  39. know a bit more about NakedEye. There is no need for configuring 
  40. NakedEye for your video card. If it does not work with your video
  41. then this version does not work with your machine! Simple as that.

  43. That's it! now run it the way you normally run DOS programs. I would
  44. not recommend running NakedEye from a floppy disk! It is now an overlay
  45. program (to save memory). It will be very slow when run from a 
  46. floppy disk.

  50. You would normally need a mouse to use NakedEye properly. If you have 
  51. no mouse then please read the user guide now in NakedEye.TXT . If you
  52. have a Sound Blaster card and would like to listen to music when looking
  53. at the GIF files, you should look at editing a GIF <-> VOC association
  54. file. Please look at the files NOTE.TXT and NakedEye.SND for more 
  55. details. It is essential that you read the file NOTE.TXT because it will
  56. be the place all new information is stored. I have not written a new
  57. manual for the software.

  75. You can use an unregistered copy software without any condition. In 
  76. this sense NakedEye is a HAPPY software. All you have to do is to 
  77. smile every time you use it!

  79. If you simply a user (not a company) and you think that you can make 
  80. money out of it, please do! even if you do not want to share it with 
  81. me and you must distribute it ABSOLUTELY unmodified!!!

  83. I suppose no one would want to register now because I have removed all
  84. the restrictions on unregistered copies. I will update registered users
  85. with the next version. This is perhaps the only incentive left for
  86. users to register. The reason I remove all restriction from this version
  87. because the next one will be very different, and people may like to 
  88. keep this version because it is very stable.
