  1. Flex Select <tm> - Xpress Mail Flexible Selection Option
  2.  
  3. This option allows you to a bundle a combination of mail. ie., all of
  4. one area, personal mail only on another,  direct mail only, etc.
  5.  
  6. The format for a Flex Select <tm> command are:
  7.  
  8.        A            - All Mail.
  9.        P            - Personal Only.
  10.        D            - Direct Only.
  11.        K            - Keywords Only.
  12.     <area #>        - ALL mail in area #. Same as <area #>A.
  13.     <-area #>       - Skip this area (temporary deselection).
  14.     <area #>A       - ALL mail in area #
  15.     <area #>P       - PERSONAL only mail in area #. Direct + Keywords.
  16.     <area #>D       - DIRECT only mail in area #
  17.     <area #>K       - KEYWORDS only mail in area #
  18.       *             - ALL mail in remaining areas.
  19.       *P            - PERSONAL only mail in remaining areas.
  20.       ?             - display this help
  21.       L             - Relist Scan Table
  22.       -*            - Clear Selection.
  23.       CLEAR         - Clear Selection.
  24.       GO            - Accept Flex Select Command and Start Packing.

  28. A future version of Flex Select will allow for selecting only a portion or
  29. range of mail in specific mail.

  33. At first, Xpress will automatically select ALL mail as selected.
  34. If you just want to select a few areas, then a command like:
  35.  
  36.      clear 10 13 14P 16D GO
  37.  
  38. will clear all areas first, then select 10 13 for all mail, 14 for
  39. personal and 16 for direct only. The GO means start the packaging.

  41. Some more examples:

  43.      *P <cr>                  | Select all Personal mail.
  44.      *P 10 14 15D <cr>        | Select all areas PERSONAL and ALL in areas
  45.                                 10, 14, and direct mail in area 15.

  47. The single letter one-liners will do the following start packaging.
  48.  
  49.       A     (same as *A GO)   | Grab all mail and GO!
  50.       P     (same as *P GO)   | Grab Personal mail and GO!
  51.       D     (same as *D GO)   | Grab Direct only mail and GO!
  52.       K     (same as *K GO)   | Grab Keyword only mail and GO!

  54. Combining these letters A,P,D,K with other flex select <tm> commands is
  55. invalid. ie,

  57.       K 10 17A          <--- Invalid for K but 10 and 17A will be taken.

  59. Note, the GO option must be the LAST part on a command, or the only
  60. part in a command.
