  1. MAIN Command V - View conference mail

  3. This command checks conferences you are a member of, reports the number of
  4. new messages and whether any are addressed to you.
  5.  
  6. The View command gives you the option to J)oin the displayed conference,
  7. i.e.  make it your current message base, or U)njoin, which means to remove
  8. you from the conference.
  9.  
  10. TIPS:
  11. 1.  View is the command you will normally use on boards that have multiple
  12.     message bases, in order to determine where you have mail waiting.  A
  13.     listing of new mail is normally presented on logon, though not with
  14.     option to join then.

  16. 2.  V)iew reports only new mail addressed to you.  You way want to join the
  17.     conferences to read public mail to all or to other individuals.

  19. 3.  V)iew will not report on conferences you have not joined.  Use the
  20.     J)oin command to join a conference for the first time.
