  1. MAIN Command S - Scan messages
  2.  
  3. This command allows you to quickly review messages.  Scan displays the
  4. message number, sender and receiver name, date and subject of each message
  5. on a single line.  You can specify which messages to scan.  The most common
  6. useful options are:
  7.  
  8.   S (or *) =  forward from where you last read
  9.   L        =  backwards from the last message sent
  10.   F        =  just the mail From you
  11.   T        =  just the mail To you (or to ALL)
  12.   M        =  just mail FROM or TO you
  13.   xxxx-    =  backward from message number xxxx
  14.   xxxx+    =  forward from message number xxxx
  15.   <text>   =  only messages with <text> in them.

  18. 1.  For more information on spcifying messages to scan, read the help on
  19.     the R)ead command.

  21. 2.  To see only a list of the message numbers and topics, use the T)opic
  22.     scan command.
