- MAIN Command K - Kill message(s)
-
- This command is used to erase one or more messages. Only the sender,
- addressee or the Sysop can kill a message.
-
- After you enter the "K" command, RBBS-PC will prompt you for the message
- number(s). Just enter one or more message numers, separated by spaces. If
- you do not have proper security to erase the message, RBBS-PC will inform
- you.
-
- TIPS:
- 1. You are encouraged to leave messages, but also to eliminate old
- messages that are no longer useful. RBBS-PC will periodically purge
- old messages to prevent the system from becoming cluttered.
-
- 2. You can kill a message as soon as you read it. The "K" option while
- reading messages accomplishes this.
-
- 3. If you inadvertently delete a message that you want retained on the
- system, the Sysop may be able to recover it. Leave a message to the
- Sysop with the message number you want recovered as soon as possible,
- as recovery is only possible shortly after the message was deleted.
