- MAIN Command B - Bulletins.
-
- This command lists bulletins available for you to read. Bulletins are text
- files that provide you with timely information about a variety of topics.
- These may include instructions for new users, upcoming events, and other
- material that the SYSOP would like to bring to your attention. Read a
- bulletin by entering the bulletin name or number at the prompt. Press the
- enter key to return to the Main Menu.
-
- TIPS:
- 1. Bulletins may be in sub-menus. Entering the sub-menu name will bring
- up another list of bulletins to choose.
-
- 2. You may find it useful to capture bulletins to disk on your personal
- computer for later viewing. "Capture to disk" is a feature that may be
- available on your communications programs.
-
- 3. Some SYSOPs make their bulletins available on the Files System for
- downloading, so you can read them off-line.
-
- 4. You can specify multiple bulletins to read in the command prompt. For
- example, "B 1 7" will read bulletins 1 and 7.
-
- 5. You will see the N)ews bulletin when you log-in if it has changed, but
- you can always view it from the Bulletin menu.
