  12. Actions: you can use these special verbs to do fun things.  For example,
  13. and assuming your System Operator hasn't changed these, and that
  14. your name is Bill:

  16. (you type) DRINK

  18. Everyone will see:

  20. Bill is chugging back another!
  21.  
  22. (you type) KICK FRED
  23.  
  24. Everyone will see:

  32. Please note that some actions must be used by themselves, others must be
  33. used "at" another user, and others may be used either way.  In the above
  34. example, we assume that the user's name is FRED.  A partial match is all
  35. it takes: KICK FR will work just fine.  Of course, if FREDERICK is also
  36. signed on, RAP will match only the first occurence.  Finally, the name
  37. ALL is a wildcard and automatically refers to "everone" in the Pub.

  39. TalkTypes: you can use these special verbs in two fun ways.  If you use
  40. them BY THEMSELVES, they function similarly to ACTIONS (unless disabled
  41. by your sysop).  However, TalkTypes were designed to, quite logically,
  42. modify the way in which you appear to speak to everyone else.  Here's an
  43. example:

  47. Everyone will see:

  49. From Bill, crying: boo hoo!

  52. If you type anything else, your text will be "broadcast" to everyone
  53. currently in the Pub.
