- Thank you a lot!!!
- --------------------------------------
-
-
-
- ---- What's new in Version 1.4 ----
-
- From now on I support only the Frontdoor-logstyle because I have
- no time or opportunity to get some opus-styled logfiles for testing
- it!!!
- I think it should run now also with the new EMSI-Session and so this
- should be the last release.
-
- Some new features:
-
- There are three possibilities to call RALOG:
-
- 1. RALOG - It will show you a summary about the whole
- logfile
-
- 2. RALOG 15.03 - It will show you a summary only about the
- given date, in this example for the 15.03.
-
- 3. RALOG 15.03 20.03 - It will show you summaries from 15.03 -
- 19.03!!
- This meens you will have to add always one
- day to the number of days you want to have
- the overview.
-
- You may stop scrolling now by pressing ESC.
-
- Users leaving your box by pressing ALT-H are in a different colour.
-
- ---- Whats's new in version 1.3----
-
- Because Markku Tauriala of 2:515/6 has written a very good program
- called RLSNIP that allows to use RALOG remotely or to write the
- informations created by RALOG into a file I changed RALOG to leave
- with some different ERRORLEVELS:
-
- 1 - RALOG can't find CONFIG.RA
- 2 - RALOG was called with a date (RALOG 10.10) and there are no more
- logfileentrys with that date
- 3 - RALOG can't find a logfile
- 4 - RALOG was called with a date and this date is not found in the
- logfile
-
-
-
- Because I'm always interested who was calling my system every day
- and I think that it is very stupid to have a look into the Logfile
- I wrote an small program called RALOG.
-
- This program looks into the Logfile and writes a little report
- about all important useractivities to the screen.
-
- It's not necessary to tell RALOG wether your Logfile is written in
- OPUS or FRONTDOOR logformat or what the name of your logfile is,
- RALOG will have a look into your CONFIG.RA and will get all infor-
- mation there.
- It is no problem if you are using RA with Frontdoor and both
- programs are using the same logfile to write their informationes
- in, RALOG will ignore the Frontdoorentrys and shows you only the
- informationes written by RA.
-
-
- ----
- Installation:
-
- There are only two possibilities to use RALOG:
-
- - RALOG finds the environment-variable like RA=<d:\pathtoRA>.
-
- In this case you can use RALOG in any directory you want.
- Make shure that you have included the drive of your RA system
- directory not only the path. F.e. D:\RA is valid, \RA NOT !
-
- - If you call RALOG in the same directory with CONFIG.RA, no
- environment-variable is needed.
-
- ----
-
- Following opportunities exist:
-
- RALOG RALOG reads the whole logfile and shows you all
- informationes.
-
- RALOG 03.05 Only the informationes of the third of may are
- displayed.
- If you made a mistake or RALOG can't find the
- date you have choosen it will stop with an
- errormessage.
-
-
- The informationes of RALOG are:
