  3. If you have been using a previous version of List'Em
  4. before version 1.3, you need to run the enclosed
  5. 12TO13.EXE program.
  6.  
  7. This program will update your previous configuration
  8. files to the modified format that 1.3 uses.
  9.  
  10. You will need to run this program in every directory
  11. where you have List'Em configuration files.  The
  12. program will automatically detect and "fix" all
  13. List'Em configuration files in that directory.
  14.  
  15. After you run this program, you may delete it.  You
  16. will not need it again.

  20. If you have registered List'Em, you may change the
  21. extensions that List'Em counts in the Stastitics
  22. chart.  This option can be found in List'Em-C.
  23.  
  24. Do this only after you have run 12TO13.

  28. The extensions can be modified with a hex editor, but
  29. we would rather you register instead.  If you dislike
  30. this method of registration encouragement, please send
  31. me a letter explaining why you disagree with this
  32. policy, and what method you think would most
  33. conveniently persuade users to register.  A lot of
  34. time and money go into writing shareware.  And for
  35. those of us struggling through school as well, it may
  36. be an only source of income.

  40. RodentWare and Improbability Drive will be moving and
  41. un-notifyable during the months of June and July.  All
  42. mail sent to the current address in RODENT.REG will be
  43. forwarded to our P.O. Box here.  However, we will not
  44. be able to check this box until August.  If you wish
  45. register during the upcoming months, you may still do
  46. so, but you will not get your key until August.  The
  47. only other alternative is to wait until then and keep
  48. an eye on the RODENT fidonet echo for my new address.
