  7.    If you are using the "eXpress Response System", you must be aware of the
  8. fact that bulletin boards which make it available to you are FidoNet systems
  9. which use a method called "EchoMail" to transport a message around the world
  10. once it is entered on any local BBS system.

  12.    I also require you to acknowledge responsibility for any messages placed
  13. into these systems before you use XRS - even to "test drive" it!!!  These
  14. SysOps are paying long distance charges both to pick up the mail you are
  15. reading, and to deliver your response.  Messages in poor taste may result in
  16. your being denied access to the bulletin board system you have been using!
  17. Please do not take advantage of the SysOp or cause them migraines due to you
  18. taking it upon yourself to upload nasty, irrelevant or off-topic messages to
  19. their systems!  You *MUST* enter messages in EchoMail areas which pertain to
  20. the subject!  If you're not sure ask the SysOp about it *before* you try it!

  22.    You must indicate willingness to abide by these rules and code of ethics
  23. when you register your copy of XRS by checking one of the two blocks on the
  24. registration form, or verifying the same (in the case of voice credit card
  25. registration).
