  4. Subcommands:  (A) Reads new messages in all of your selected conferences
  5.           (S) Reads all messages since your last read
  6.           (#) A valid message number to read, with a (+) or (-) optional
  7.           (+) Reads messages forward from current message
  8.           (-) Reads messages backward from current message
  9.           (F) Selects "only messages from you" mode
  10.           (Y) Selects "only messages to you" mode
  11.           (YA) Selects "only messages to you and ALL" mode
  12.           (T) Selects "text search" mode

  14.           &, (), and & symbols are allowed in the search string
  15.           for AND/OR searches, for example:

  17.           (UTIL | AID) & DISK
  18.           GOOD & GAME
  19.           (EGA | VGA) & (DEMO | 486)

  21.           Only items which match the full AND/OR template will be
  22.           displayed.

  24.           (U) Selects "only messages to/from other user" mode
  25.           (N) Returns to normal mode (cancels all modes)
  26.           (J) Join a conference (same as on main menu)
  27.           (RE) Reset last read message pointers (same as on main menu)
  28.           (I) Switches between message read and message scan
  29.  
  30. Description:  Allows scanning the headers of all messages.  All
  31.           public messages will be displayed, along with private
  32.           messages left either by you or for you, and password
  33.           protected messages.  Scanning does not update your last
  34.           read message pointers, and can be used as a way to
  35.           "look ahead" into your unread messages.  SysOps will see
  36.           a 'K' after the number of any killed messages.
