  1. ROS can display many bulletins.  This particular bulletin will be displayed
  2. when the user asks for bulletin number "1".  An example of what might be
  3. included follows:

  9. │ I ran into an interesting - and very unusual - problem this afernoon:       │
  10. │ On several occasions, I noticed line two ringing at almost exactly the same │
  11. │ time as line one.  When both lines were finally free, I called line one and │
  12. │ sure enough, both modems answered!  I started checking around and finally   │
  13. │ went outside to the phone box.  On opening it up, I found two slugs (that's │
  14. │ like a snail without a shell) _inside_ the box.  One of the slugs was       │
  15. │ actually shorting out two of the lines!  After a little "surgery" with a    │
  16. │ screwdriver, operations were restored to normal.  It's very possible that   │
  17. │ this poor deranged slug was also causing some of the noise that's been      │
  18. │ reported lately.                                                            │
