-
- Ezycom offers some powerful file searching functions to help you locate the
- files you're after. To activate the search routines, select the approptiate
- menu option. Ezycom will give you a one line menu with the following
- options:
-
- (K) Keyword : Specify a keyword to search for. Each file area will
- be scanned for each occurence of this word in both the
- file name and the description.
-
- For example, if you want to find any Ezycom related
- file you might set the keyword to EASY (case doesn't
- matter). Any file with EASY in the name or description
- will be listed.
-
- The default criteria is ".", which means display all
- files.
-
- Note: Do NOT use any wildcard characters (*, ?) in
- the keyword. They are not needed and may cause
- problems.
-
- (F) From Date : Specify a date to search from. This is useful if you
- don't really care about old file. The search date is
- entered as DDMMYY, with no seperators.
-
- For example, to ignore any files older than the start
- of 1991, enter 010191 (ie, 1 January, 1991) as the
- start date.
-
- (T) To Date : Specify a date to seach to. This is useful if you know
- a file you are looking for is an older one. The date
- is entered in the same format as the from date, DDMMYY.
-
- For example, to list all the files uploaded in 1991,
- you could set the start date to 010191 and then end
- date to 311291.
-
- (S) Start : Begin the search with the specified options. All the
- normal add to batch options are available.
-
- (Q) Quit : Abort the search and return to the menu.
-
-
- Press [Enter] to continue.
