  4.   Be prepared for a long list of bugs, changes and features. It took
  5.   some time to create the new version so many user requests could be
  6.   implemented (others are implemented in 2.10, the next release).
  7.   The basic idea behind this release is to fix the real problems and
  8.   to add some small gigs. A small line in this list can make your day
  9.   (or it won't) !!!
  10.  
  11.   ■ Fixed the flag-support. It now works like the BBS. This should be
  12.     a relief;
  13.  
  14.   ■ Fixed the CTRL-Z problem that caused the FILES.BBS to trash and
  15.     make some editors go wild. Also the uploads will be logged in
  16.     the FILES.BBS ok (and no trash);
  17.  
  18.   ■ Fixed the hangup in FileDoor that was caused when a user used the
  19.     Bimodem <tm> protocol (registered or hacked) and added some files
  20.     to download. It could result in hanging FileDoor, hanging multi-
  21.     tasker, hanging machine or other strange things (I was trashing
  22.     the PC's memory);
  23.  
  24.   ■ Fixed the problem in multi-line operations with the 'SYSTEM FILE
  25.     (FILES.RA) NOT FOUND' error. I was sharing the file (thank you
  26.     folks, I received as many 'It is sharing-code 64' messages as
  27.     I got registrations) but forgot the sharing in one S.O.B. part
  28.     of the program (a removed line);
  29.  
  30.   ■ Fixed the problem where users were removed from FileDoor for no
  31.     reason with the CARRIER LOST or TIMEOUT/LOCKOUT message. This
  32.     was caused because of a weak filer in the input;
  33.  
  34.   ■ Fixed the problem where users could enter control-codes in the
  35.     input lines (same weak filer as above);
  36.  
  37.   ■ Fixed the problem where users would enter a file to upload twice
  38.     (or more) in the pre-selection, sending them once, and FileDoor
  39.     counting it twice (or more);
  40.  
  41.   ■ Fixed the problem with the RC=2 error when the protocols were in
  42.     the current directory when FileDoor got control;
  43.  
  44.   ■ The input-buffer was not cleared so when the user pressed 'Y' or
  45.     'N' to hard, they got more ('Y') or less ('N') files than they
  46.     wanted. Now the buffer is cleared before the next question;
  47.  
  48.   ■ With QuickMatch on, it was possible to enter *.* or ????????.???.
  49.     This is now filtered as a wrong file-mask;
  50.  
  51.   ■ Changed the user's command-line. The '[CR] to start download' will
  52.     only be presented when a file is selected (excluded is the infor-
  53.     mation file, see later) or when Bimodem is used;
  54.  
  55.   ■ Added the DupePath option to allow the movement (and not delete)
  56.     of duplicate files to a special directory;
  57.  
  58.   ■ Fixed a bug where FileDoor was counting IMb+ files as one tenth
  59.     of their actual size;
  60.  
  61.   ■ Fixed a bug where FileDoor was not seeing duplicate files when
  62.     the BBS was using ARJ for most files;
  63.  
  64.   ■ Reconfigured the logging (see documentation). It is important to
  65.     take some time to add the new features OTHERWISE LOGGING WILL RE-
  66.     SULT IN EMPTY LINES IN YOUR LOG !!!!!!!
  67.  
  68.   ■ Dupe files (upload) can now also be logged (see documentation);
  69.  
  70.   ■ Made the selection display somewhat smaller and added an option
  71.     for the user to read extended information about a file. This will
  72.     include the comment (up to 250 bytes, QFV/F/C +-commentline com-
  73.     patible), the name of the area, the size, the date and the time;
  74.  
  75.   ■ Enhanced the Color option with some colors that could not be
  76.     changed. Now they can;
  77.  
  78.   ■ Fixed 80% of the FOSSIL routines, causing less ticks to be snatched
  79.     from your other task(s) (under multitasking);
  80.  
  81.   ■ Added a Debug option;
  82.  
  83.   ■ Added a HelpExitKeys option;
  84.  
  85.   ■ Added a NotAvailText option;
  86.  
  87.   ■ Added the ExitAfterDownload option to call an exit after the down-
  88.     load;
  89.  
  90.   ■ Added information-file options. The user can now also download a
  91.     file with comments of the (previously) selected or downloaded
  92.     files EVEN with protocols that allow only 1 download at any time.
  93.     If the user stays in FileDoor, the info-file is kept and can be
  94.     downloaded UNLESS the user exits from FileDoor. Added the option
  95.     DownloadInfo;
  96.  
  97.   ■ If the user selects <G>oodbye after transfer, FileDoor will now
  98.     display the GOODBYE.A?? screen;
  99.  
  100.   ■ If the user tries to download outside the normal hours, FileDoor
  101.     will display the DNLDHRS.A?? file;
  102.  
  103.   ■ If the HLP_???? file is not present, FileDoor will try to display
  104.     XFERHELP.A?? (if present);
  105.  
  106.   ■ Fixed a bug where FileDoor could leave the temporary directory
  107.     after a transfer. This is fixed;
  108.  
  109.   ■ Added some space to allow up to 255 protocols PER direction BUT
  110.     remember that the screen will scroll and every protocol will take
  111.     up to 172 bytes of memory;
  112.  
  113.   ■ Added ANSASC option to use different names for the menus and help-
  114.     files;
  115.  
  116.   ■ Added explicit support for SBBS 1.11 and up (FLSEARCH.BBS);
