  1. FileDoor 2.xx (and higher) is a complete rewrite from the FileDoor 1.21
  2. C-implementation to a Pascal-implementation. Great care has been taken
  3. into the coorporation of fast, error-free, commercial (and registered)
  4. routines to make the new version fast (and not to big).
  5.  
  6. When a program is rewritten, old bugs can be copied, they could be
  7. gone and new ones are introduced. FileDoor has many new features
  8. that are nice for both user AND SysOp. These features make the pro-
  9. gram very complex though. More than 8 experienced alpha-testers have
  10. worked for more than 4 months to report all possible errors so I could
  11. fix them, there could be bugs though (but to see the bright side, even
  12. products like MsDos and Windows 3.0 contain bugs and you must pay for
  13. those products). A version 2.02ß is already installed at the alpha/beta
  14. nodes so any report from you can be implemented at high speed into the
  15. beta release and will result in a fast (and good) update.

  18. asked to send them to me in one of ways:

  27. DISP is available in zones 2 and 1, RA_UTIL also but I can imagine
  28. that QuickBBS and SBBS users will dislike this. It is impossible
  29. for me though, to scroll thru more than 1500 messages per week so
  30. I must make a selection. You can always contact one of the support
  31. nodes (they carry DISP) to submit your problems (see list in the
  32. XFDDOCEN.DOC file).

  34. When entering echomail in one of the above areas, you are asked to
  35. use the following subject 'FDBUG: text' for bugs and 'FDSUG: text'
  36. for suggestions. My XRS-system will alarm me when I receive these
  37. kind of messages....
