  3.     This version is only a bug fix.  This version is only being released
  4.     with the Executable file and this whatsnew file.  The full version may

  8.     Some users would like to try to crash the system, and type 0 when asked
  9.     what number they wish to start at when Browsing messages, but that's

  15.    Fixed a problem with QTSysOp, if you tried to delete an ad, it would
  16.    erase the entire database of ads!  Very bad problem, but this has been
  17.    fixed now (I hope! :)).

  19.    Added FULL arrow-key support!  But in order for it to work properly
  20.    you must make sure NumLock is on, otherwise no go!

  22.    Command line options for QTSysOp:
  23.       /Dxx           <- Purge ads older than xx number of days.
  24.       /PMM-DD-YYYY   <- Purge ads older than MM-DD-YYYY

  26.    When Browsing in QTrade, it first asks the user which number to start
  27.    at, and if they press ENTER it defaults to 1.  I added this because
  28.    sometimes you might have a really large database of items, and the user
  29.    might have already seen most of it, and since this program does not YET
  30.    have a newscan function, I figured they could easily use this to view
  31.    only the ones they want!

  33.    Added Fast Browse, which is similar to Browse, except instead of showing
  34.    you the entire description, etc., all it shows you is:
  35.               Record No.    Name of Item           Name of Entrant

  37.    When Erasing an ad in QTrade, it will show you a list of the ads the
  38.    user who is currently online placed, no others!  It will not allow them
  39.    to erase an ad they didn't place.

  41.    Changed the display when erasing an ad in QTrade, it used to show you your
  42.    own name and the description of the item, now it shows the name of the item
  43.    and the date entered.

  45.    Fixed a couple (about 3) problems with Search, it works great now
  46.    though!

  48.    Now when Browsing the program will allow you to go Backwards, Forwards,
  49.    or Quit.

  51.    Added support for GAP BBS and any other BBS program that uses the
  52.    DOOR.SYS door file format.  This has also created a new option in the
  53.    config file.  If you use QuickBBS/RA/SuperBBS or anything that supplies
  54.    DORINFO1.DEF make the last line of the config file DORINFO.  If you use
  55.    GAP or any other BBS that supplies DOOR.SYS, change the last parameter
  56.    to DOORSYS.  More BBS file formats are on the way -- if you want one
  57.    added, simply NetMail me the format of the file that the BBS supplies
  58.    and I will add it!  Please NetMail all inquiries on this subject to me

  63.    The next major version (which I hope will be out before the end of
  64.    summer vacation) will be 3.00 and written in Turbo Pascal, which will
  65.    have many new features including Wordwrap for entering a message and
  66.    posting of ads, among MANY other new and excellent options.  It will
  67.    also load a lot faster and the executable file will be a lot smaller!
  68.    However, there is one drawback -- I have been thinking of making that
  69.    version available only to those who register.  And the registration
  70.    price will go up when 3.00 is released, so if you haven't yet registered
  71.    for the low price of $10 (or $20 or $30, whatever the deal you pick!)
  72.    then do so now!

  74.    I've starting a complete rewrite of QTSysOp, complete with mouse support,
  75.    full editing capabilities and anything else I can think of adding.

  77.    The next major version of QTrade will also have support for MANY other
  78.    BBS types so if you're a BBS author, or if you have the structure to a
  79.    BBS external file format (such as PCBOARD, WILDCAT, XBBS, etc.) send it
