- Sunrise-80 PC-Yahtzee is an adaptation of the popular dice game.
- The object of the game is to fill in all categories, in all games and
- accumulate as many points as possible. Each time you play a new game,
- your goal is to beat your prior score as well as the top score.
-
- In this game you roll the dice (up to 3 times) until you have a hand
- that will fit into a category on the game board. You are actually
- playing three (3) separate games at one time. Game identifiers are
- located at the top of the 3 columns used to record a score.
-
- You will have the choice of selecting the category AND game the
- points are to be placed in. Since you do have a choice, you should be
- aware that points, placed in game 3, will be TRIPLED, points placed
- in game 2 will be DOUBLED and points placed in game 1 REMAIN as
- entered. The points will not show as doubled or tripled in the
- individual category, but will be reflected in the GRAND TOTAL score.
- Please keep this scoring methodology in mind as it plays a major role
- in your strategy in maintaining a high score.
-
-
- PC-Yahtzee BONUSes, valued at 100 points each, are awarded for each
- PC-Yahtzee you roll AFTER you have filled in all three (3) PC-Yahtzee
- categories with 0 or 50 points.
-
- Since each game played, may take longer than the time you have, a
- SAVE feature has been incorporated into the game. If you select the
- [Q] option you will be given a choice of SAVing the game for restart
- the next time you decide to play.
-
-
- ONE - SIX Will add the total of the dice number you choose, into
- the corresponding category. For example, if you roll 3
- sixes, and you choose sixes as the category, the program
- will insert 18 in the game you have chosen. If the total
- of all six categories is greater than 62, you earn a 35
- point bonus.
-
- 3 of a KIND You are looking to roll 3 of the same die. If you are
- successful, you will accumulate the face value of all
- the dice rolled.
-
- 4 of a KIND You are looking to roll 4 of the same die. If you are
- successful, you will accumulate the face value of all
- the dice rolled.
-
- FULL HOUSE A roll of 3 of a kind and a pair equals a full house.
- If you are successful, you will accumulate 25 points.
-
- SM. STRAIGHT A small straight consists of 4 dice in numerical
- sequence (ie: 2,3,4,5). If you are successful, you
- will accumulate 30 points.
-
- LG. STRAIGHT A large straight consists of all 5 dice in numerical
- sequence (ie: 1,2,3,4,5). If you are successful, you
- will accumulate 40 points.
-
- PC-YAHTZEEs Rolling all 5 dice with the same face value, will
- accumulate 50 points.
-
- CHANCE This category accepts the total of all 5 dice.
