- At Motor City Software, we feel that next to writing good software, support is a
- very high priority. We have put a lot of work into MCFreq and hope that you will
- take the time to register this product if you find it usefull.
-
- We will however, attempt to solve any problems you may be having while you are
- evaluating it. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or
- problems.
-
- Registered users will have priority for support, but unregistered users will be
- supported to the best of our abilities. When we released 1.30, the first release
- to carry a registration fee, the response was very good. We helped a few systems
- overcome problems and they were good enough to register the product. We even had
- a user who registered it before we could get it working for him! Needless to say
- his problem became a priority! (Thanks Brian...)
-
- Version 1.40 was release about six months ago and registrations continue to come
- in. It is because of this support that we are able to continue devoting time and
- effort to bring you innovative new products.
-
- This release, Version 2.00, has a new twist to it. It will function completely
- in local mode, but will only run remotely for the Sysop. It gets the sysops name
- from the dorinfo1.def file. We feel that you should have the opportunity to
- evaluate a COMPLETE package, and we think that this is a fair way to do it.
- Rather than cripple the product, rendering some functions unusable, we have
- decided that this was a good approach. Everything will function in local mode
- for ANY user. Remotely, for the sysop, everything will function. If another user
- enters the door, it will inform him that it must be registered in order to allow
- users to have access.
-
- If for any reason you cannot get it to work remotely while logged on as the
- sysop name as defined in Dorinfo1.def, or are running software which does not
- allow you to put your sysop name in dorinfo1.def, then contact us, and we can
- issue you a temporary key.
-
- In order to offer the best support possible, there are a number of ways to
- contact us.
