- you have is to put the right stuff in the right place. This package
- was bundled to make even this pretty simple. Please take the time to
- read the doc files that are extracted from your first unzip of Maze50.zip
- before calling me for help.

- Setup Sequence: (Details to Follow)

- 0. Print SETUP.DOC, INVOICE.DOC and PATH.DOC before doing anything!
- 1. Setup the MAZE directory
- 2. Setup the MAZEDATA directory .. includes RAWDATA directory setup
- 3. Test MAZE.EXE in local mode ... I knew you would anyway! <grin>
- 4. Setup the EXAMPLES directory
- 5. Setup the MAZEDOCS directory
- 6. Setup MAZE2BBS in your BBS directory
- 7. Print all the docs in MAZEDOCS
- 8. Configure MAZE
- 9. Configure OPENDOOR .. It helps to read OPENDOOR.DOC and PROBLEM.DOC
- 10. Setup BBS to call MAZE.BAT
- 11. Test MAZE.BAT from BBS in Local and Remote Operation
- Note: Some BBS systems do not support calling Doors in local mode!
- 12. Scan the documention files
- 13. Consider registration of this fine program .. See REGISTER.DOC

- 1. Make a directory somewhere called MAZE.
- 2. Make the directory called MAZE the current directory.
- 3. Copy the file MAZE50.ZIP into the directory MAZE.
- 4. UnZip the file MAZE50.ZIP in the directory MAZE.
- 5. Now UnZip the file MAZEGAME.ZIP in the directory MAZE.
- 6. Put the file MAZE50.ZIP somewhere safe .. like a floppy
- 7. Delete the file MAZE50.ZIP from MAZE.
- 8. At the DOS prompt type "DEL *.DOC" to zap extra doc files

- 1. Make a subdirectory off MAZE called MAZEDATA.
- 2. Copy MAZEDATA.ZIP into the directory MAZEDATA.
- 3. Delete the file MAZEDATA.ZIP from the MAZE directory.
- 4. Make MAZEDATA the current directory.
- 5. UnZip the file MAZEDATA.ZIP in the directory MAZEDATA.
- 6. Make a subdirectory off MAZEDATA call RAWDATA
- 7. Copy RAWDATA.ZIP into the directory RAWDATA
- 8. Delete the file RAWDATA.ZIP from MAZEDATA
- 9. UnZip the file RUNDATA.ZIP in the directory MAZEDATA.
- 10. Delete the file MAZEDATA.ZIP from MAZEDATA

- 2. Delete all the Doc files leaving only the file MAZEDOCS.ZIP

- 1. At the DOS prompt type "Print MAZE.CFG".
- 2. Use a text editor to modify:
- A. The Sysop Name
- B. The Locked Baud Switch ....... only if you run your bbs that way!
- C. The Locked Baud Speed ........ ditto above
- 3. Time permitting read MAZE.DOC

- 0. Make your BBS Directory the current directory.
- 1. At the DOS prompt type "OPENDOOR.EXE"
- Note: This will create the configuration file OPENDOOR.CFG
- 2. If you run a locked baud BBS then: .... (Edit OPENDOOR.CFG)
- Use a text editor to modify:
- B. The Locked Baud Switch
- C. The Locked Baud Speed ........ If not 19200
- 3. Time permitting read OPENDOOR.DOC
- 4. Time permitting read PROBLEM.DOC

- 1. At the DOS prompt type "TYPE MAZE.BAT"
- 2. Edit MAZE.BAT if directory and/or drive
- information is not correct.
- 3. Set up BBS to call MAZE.BAT and output DORINFO1.DEF
- Note: If you can't do this then:
- READ ... OPENDOOR.DOC and PROBLEM.DOC
