- Door Converter for DreamWare
-
-
- This package will convert several door files to a command line
- for the DreamWare Door Programs. See the DDOOR program for the
- most up-to-date list of files supported. (Just enter DDOOR for
- help.)
-
-
- Use: DDOOR Online_F D_Program.Exe [D_Args] [=Parm_Order] [D_Args]
-
- Where:
- Online_F = Full Path of Online File to Read
- D_Program.Exe = Full Path of Program to Execute
- D_Args = Door Specific Arguments
- Parm_Order = Order for general parameters
- A = Ansi M = Music
- B = Baud P = Port
- T = TimeLeft N = Name
-
- Note the Online File is the BBS's online file, such as DOOR.SYS,
- CALLINFO.BBS, INFO.BBS, etc. Supply the full path name if it's
- not in the current directory.
-
- A test program is provided so you can determine if you have set
- it up properly. To use it, first make sure you have a copy of the
- Online File you want to use available, then try something like
- this:
-
- Test Example:
-
- DDOOR DOOR.SYS DDOORTST.EXE =ABPTN
-
- This will run the DDOORTST, which will tell you what it got from
- the specified online file. An '*' is shown next to each item that
- came from the command line, since all Dreamware doors use command
- line arguments, this proves very helpful.
-
- The "=ABPTN" tells the door converter which command line
- arguments to pass along, getting the information from the given
- online file, or using default values.
-
- Here's an example of how to run the Trivia Door with the Bible
- trivia database, and using an INFO.BBS online file:
-
- DDOOR INFO.BBS TRIVIA.EXE BIBLE1 =ABPTN
-
- As of this writing, the current Online_Files supported are:
-
- DOOR.SYS ? (Short & Long versions)
- INFO.BBS Phoenix
- DORINFOx.DEF ?
- CALLINFO.BBS ?
- SFDOORS.DAT Spitfire
- CHAIN.TXT WWIV
